Natalie Martinez is a fully registered psychologist with over 10 years of clinical experience gained through NSW Health and in private practice settings. Natalie completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology through the University of Western Sydney in 2008 and a Bachelor of Arts – Psychology through the University of Wollongong in 2006. Natalie has more recently completed a Diploma in Leadership and Management and enjoys mentoring and supervising other psychologists. Natalie is a member of the APS.
Natalie has experience working with children, adolescents and adults. Natalie’s passion is working collaboratively with clients utilising their strengths, in order to equip them with the necessary tools to meet life’s challenges at any stage. Natalie believes in early intervention but also enjoys working with clients who understand that it is never too late to make changes.
Natalie has extensive experience utilising CBT with children, adolescents and adults. Natalie also utilises ACT, Narrative Therapy, DBT and Brief Solution Focused Therapy. Natalie has skills and experience in working with both mild and more severe/chronic presentations. These presentations include Anxiety, Depression, OCD, Bipolar Disorder, Childhood Trauma and Child Behaviour concerns.
Natalie also utilises strategies and techniques from Schema Therapy, ACT, Narrative Therapy, DBT, and Brief Solution Focused Therapy.
