Briallen completed a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Psychology at The University of Sydney in 1998, and then went on to complete a Masters of Clinical Psychology at The University of New South Wales in 2000. Briallen has been working in the field of Clinical Psychology since that time.

Briallen’s psychology career has provided her with extensive experience in a range of settings. She has worked within Adult Mental Health in Australia and the United Kingdom. Briallen has also worked within the hospital system, providing psychology services to patients recovering from illness and injury. She began Private Practice in 2005 alongside her Public Health work, and in 2010 decided to work solely in Private Practice.
Whilst Briallen welcomes clients presenting with any difficulties, she has specialty areas including Depression, Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Eating Disorders and addressing the impact of Childhood Sexual Abuse.
