Ben is a Consultant Psychologist, working within the Public Health system as well as working privately for Reid Clinical Psychology. Ben obtained a Bachelor of Social Science Degree from The University of Western Sydney in 2001. In 2002 he completed a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Psychology at Newcastle University.
Since 2004, Ben has been providing psychological intervention within the drug and alcohol field and generalist counselling field. He has achieved senior positions in both areas within Public Health.
Ben has extensive experience in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Interpersonal Psychotherapy and Existential Therapy. He is experienced working with adults, children and couples, and has specialised in addictive disorders, domestic violence and working with children on behavioural issues.
