Registrar Clinical PsychologistTheresa is a registered Psychologist whose journey in psychology began with a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at the University of Wollongong, followed by a Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of Technology Sydney. Theresa has worked across private and acute inpatient settings, offering therapy in individual and group settings. Currently, Theresa works in the public sector and in private practice.
While Theresa primarily employs Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), she draws upon evidence-based interventions including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Schema Therapy.
Theresa works with clients aged 18+. Her particular areas of interest include anxiety disorders, phobias, relationship and interpersonal difficulties, challenges with emotion (communication, regulation, suppression), and self-esteem issues.
With a commitment to fostering a warm, non-judgmental space, Theresa invites clients to embark on a journey of self-discovery and growth. Through collaborative exploration and evidence-based interventions, she aims to guide individuals towards meaningful change, helping them overcome obstacles, leverage personal strengths, and enhance overall well-being.
